Paris movie night. Last night at The Cinéma Accattone: The Fugitive Kind. A movie I have long loved and had never seen on the big screen. Those faces/actors you never forget, writ large (Victor Jory is dripping with seemingly more bile-filled, old south sweat on the big screen) and so much more. I could go on and on, but I’m saving it for Sunset Gun…
After freezing through an enormous, impressive flea market, I wanted to warm up with a movie. Checked what was playing (so much), jumped into a cab and made it to “Odds Against Tomorrow” (“Le Coup de l’escalier”) at The Champo - Espace Jacques Tati. I do love this city…
I like it here.
