Sunset Gunshots

3 notes

Link Wray. “Switchblade,” from his 1980 album “Bullshot.” Wray, right (clearly… who else could that possibly be?), with Rob Stoner, Robert Gordon and Howie Wyeth. Badass is a word thrown around too often and attributed to the wrong people, but Wray and this… this song… it’s pure sonic badass. The album isn’t perfect, but oh, Mr. Wray. No Stray Cat Struttin’ for him — still cool and the real deal even in the frequently taste challenged 1980s. (pic & read more via alan walker art)
